We woke up to find we had no wi-fi.

We left the finca at 12:20 and I gave the doberman a couple dog biscuits to leave us alone.

We took a bus to Caldas where we met Laura for lunch at Casa Pamplona.  The owner of the restaurant, Alberto Magallón, was born in Spain, went to college in Iowa, and lived in Minnesota and Miami before moving to Caldas.  Jim ordered some appetizers for everyone to try and share: Tortilla Española con Champiñones, Tortilla Española con Pimientos, and Croquetas de Jamón.  I think Laura was shy because at first she only ordered an appetizer - Albóndigas.  For our entrees Jim ordered the Patatas Bravas con Chorizo Español, Teresa and I ordered the Costillas de Cerdo en Salsa BBQ, and later Laura had the Salmon a la Vizcaina.

While there we called Mr. Dario, I got his email address and we arranged to play chess at his apartment building every Friday starting March 6th while Teresa is taking a painting class.

On the way back to the finca we stopped at Kachotis, restaurant near the finca, for a drink.  I call it the Greek restaurant because the name sounds greek to me.

Back at the finca there was still no wi-fi.
