We took the metro to Caribe station, walked a block to the north terminal bus station, walked downstairs and bought our tickets for 13mil each at window 14.  At 9:30, after a 20 minute wait we were on our way.

It’s a 2 hour bus ride to Guatape.

We had lunch next door to the bus station at La Fogata.  We found out they have seating on the 3^rd floor so we had lunch up there.  After lunch we bought tickets back to Medellin.

We took 2 mototaxis to La Piedra (The Rock) for 10,000 pesos each.  They have a new “toll booth” down the hill so we had to walk a little to get to the actual entrance.

Jim, Cyd, and Bruce paid the 13mil fee to climb the rock.   

In the meantime Teresa and Joan did some shopping.  They came back an hour and 45 minutes later.

We ran into the same 4 girls from the past 2 days.  I guess we’re on the same schedule.

Back at Guatape we walked around town for awhile.

I finished Stephen King’s 357 page Gerald’s Game.

We took the 5:30 bus back to Medellin.
